Fun-filled weekly classes and workshops for those of us aged 50 or more.
Exploring the art of play, creativity and dramatic arts at Theatre Royal in Brighton and Ropetackle in Shoreham.
Now celebrating its sixth year of making a difference to the older people of Brighton, Age is a Stage is forging new connections and providing a creative outlet, bringing theatre back into people’s lives.
NEW: Laughter for Life, a series of FREE workshops in East Brighton for people over 50.

The Insurrection Shuffle is our new production: a myth-bending display of epic comedy and disgraceful theatrics.
Two showings – 9 and 30 May – both at 6pm in Brighton Spiegeltent Bosco Theater.

Development class at Unitarian Church Brighton
Delve more deeply into comic techniques: improvisation, voice, character development, mask and immersive skills. This can be used for personal development or for performance work. Drop-ins welcome, but regular participants may be eligible to take part in performances during Brighton Fringe in May.
Mondays 11.30am – 1pm

Laughter for Life
Fun-filled workshops to stretch your creative muscles. Gentle warm-ups, games and comic exercises will get you laughing. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to let go and let your creative spirit fly. Thanks to Ageing Well and Impact Initiatives we can offer these workshops for free.
Saturdays 4.30pm – 6 pm
